Magebane Lizard provides a solid 1/4 blocker that punishes their chain of noncreature spells like Ancestral Anger or Turn Inside Out with recurring damage. Duress strips key noncreature spells like Leyline of Resonance from their hand, while Get Lost offers instant-speed removal for opposing threats. Casey Jones, Vigilante is risky against this fast aggro deck since discarding three cards at random can strand answers, so trim it along with the clunkier Practiced Offense and Tersa Lightshatter for more efficient defensive pieces.
