Mono-Red Aggro is a straightforward burn-and-creatures race, so Dawn's Truce is excellent to blank a critical turn of removal or a lethal burn spell like Burst Lightning or Lightning Strike while protecting our board. Magebane Lizard adds up damage against their noncreature removal suite (Burst Lightning, Channeled Dragonfire, Shock, Lightning Strike) over the course of a game. Requiting Hex is serviceable but Practiced Offense is too slow and doesn't affect the board immediately, which matters against a deck this fast. Mulligan aggressively for early blockers and prioritize stabilizing the board before going for a big turn.
