Izzet Leyline Aggro wants to flood the board and pump creatures via Ancestral Anger, Wild Ride, and Turn Inside Out, so Authority of the Consuls slows their curve and gains us life against their aggressive creature suite. Torpor Orb is strong against enter-the-battlefield reliant decks, though this opponent's creatures like Elusive Otter and Drake Hatcher don't actually trigger off entering the battlefield, and it does not prevent abilities from triggering when noncreature permanents enter, so leave it in the sideboard. Pinnacle Starcage continues to exile their cheap early threats like Elusive Otter and Stadium Headliner. Trim slower reactive artifacts like Dusk Rose Reliquary and Candy Trail that are too slow against this aggressive, low-curve deck.
