WBR is an aggressive midrange deck full of cheap creatures like Iron-Shield Elf, Marauding Mako, and Hardened Academic, making Authority of the Consuls very strong at slowing their aggression and generating incidental life gain as their creatures enter tapped. Lodestone Needle and Pinnacle Starcage remain excellent against their low-curve creature suite. The extra Tezzeret, Cruel Captain helps us grind past their removal-heavy plan (Requiting Hex, Erode) in longer games. Cut Spring-Loaded Sawblades and Dusk Rose Reliquary, which are more reactive one-for-ones that are less impactful than proactively taxing their whole curve.
