Doomsday wants to resolve its namesake sorcery and then chain draw spells into Thassa's Oracle for the win, so Deafening Silence is devastating since it restricts them to one noncreature spell per turn, badly hampering their combo sequencing which requires multiple spells in a single turn. Consign to Memory can counter Thassa's Oracle's triggered ability directly (a colorless spell/ability check: Thassa's Oracle itself is a blue creature spell so Consign to Memory cannot counter the spell, but it CAN counter the enters-the-battlefield triggered ability that wins them the game), making it a precise answer to their kill condition. Stifle is redundant with Consign to Memory's broader triggered-ability coverage, and Erode is unnecessary since they run very few creatures worth killing. Keep Force of Will and Force of Negation at full count to fight through Daze and protect your ability to interact on their combo turn.
