Beanstalk Control is a mirror match built on the same Tamiyo/Quantum Riddler/Up the Beanstalk engine, and their heavy Island count makes Carpet of Flowers an excellent mana accelerant that snowballs our card advantage plan. Consign to Memory answers their Murktide Regent's colorless nature poorly since it's a creature spell (not colorless once cast — verify: Murktide Regent is a blue creature, so Consign to Memory cannot counter it), but it still handles Mishra's Bauble-style effects and Tamiyo triggered abilities, giving us a cheap way to disrupt their card flow. Wrath of the Skies is symmetrical and slow in a low-creature-count mirror, so it's trimmed along with Spell Pierce and one pair of Force of Negation since both decks have similarly dense countermagic suites and grinding card quality matters more than tempo answers. Keep our full Swords to Plowshares and Leyline Binding suite to answer their Murktide Regent and Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd.
