Consign to Memory counters their colorless Eldrazi spells—including Kozilek's Command—as well as triggered abilities, making it excellent against a deck built almost entirely around colorless mana. Wrath of the Skies comes in over Blue Elemental Blast, which has no legal targets because Wastescape Battlemage is a colorless creature and their deck has no red spells or permanents, giving us a point of interaction their deck can't easily play around. Spell Pierce is much weaker since Ancient Tomb and Eldrazi Temple make paying the extra {2} trivial for them, and Solitude is a poor rate against a deck full of efficient bodies backed by Chalice of the Void, though Chalice set to zero will not counter our evoke plan since Solitude has mana value 5.
