Sultai Aluren wants to resolve Show and Tell into Omniscience or Atraxa, Grand Unifier, or assemble Aluren for a combo turn, so proactive disruption on their key enablers is essential. Force of Negation is excellent here since it can stop Show and Tell, Aluren, or Omniscience for free on their turn. It only hits noncreature spells, so it can't answer Atraxa or Acererak the Archlich when they are cast. Duress strips Veil of Summer or a protection piece before they can use it, and Brazen Borrower's Adventure half bounces an Aluren or Atraxa cheaply while leaving a flash blocker for later. Daze is weak since they're not pressuring our mana aggressively, and Flow State is too slow when we need to be proactive against their turn-3/4 combo kills.
