Surgical Extraction is excellent here, stripping their Reanimate, Animate Dead, or Shallow Grave targets like Griselbrand or Atraxa, Grand Unifier out of hand, graveyard, and library before they can cheat it in. Barrowgoyf races well and blocks profitably against their reanimated fatties while gaining life to offset their aggression. Duress proactively strips Unmask, Reanimate, or Animate Dead before they resolve, which is far more valuable than our cantrips against a deck trying to combo out. Boomerang Basics, Flow State, and Daze are too passive against a deck that can win on turn one or two, so we prioritize disruption and blockers instead.
