Force of Negation is a key upgrade to fight through their countermagic for our own threats and to stop Leyline Binding or Swords to Plowshares on our key permanents, while Kaito, Bane of Nightmares dodges Swords to Plowshares and provides a resilient, hard-to-answer win condition against a control deck. Surgical Extraction can proactively strip a copy of Solitude or another one-of answer from their list once we see it. Keep Thoughtseize, Force of Will, and the core engine intact since disrupting their hand and protecting our threats is the primary plan against control.
