The EPIC Storm is a combo deck looking to resolve Tendrils of Agony or a flashbacked Echo of Eons through a storm count built from free artifacts like Lotus Petal and Chrome Mox, so Force of Negation is premium free interaction to stop a key enabler like Burning Wish on their turn. Fatal Push can answer their rare creature threats if one resolves cheaply, serving as a flexible low-cost include. Snuff Out is cut since they run almost no creatures worth targeting, and Ponder is trimmed since the matchup is won by disruption and free countermagic rather than digging for a proactive threat.
