Jeskai Artifacts is a combo-ish deck built around Urza's Saga and cheap artifacts, so Force of Negation is strong for stopping a key noncreature artifact spell like Mox Opal or Sewer-veillance Cam on their turn. It can't counter their creatures, such as Goblin Welder or Goblin Engineer. Portable Hole can exile early mana value 2 or less permanents like Mox Opal, Goblin Welder, Goblin Engineer or Loki, God of Mischief before they generate value. It can't hit Emry, Lurker of the Loch, which has mana value 3. We cut Voice of Victory, Edge of Autumn, Consider and one Flow State as lower-impact slots. We keep Thassa's Oracle, since it is our only win condition. This matchup is more of a race to assemble our combo first since they have little mainboard disruption aimed at us.
