Doomsday wins by assembling a five-card stack and winning with Thassa's Oracle, so interaction that stops the combo turn is more valuable than our creature package. Spell Pierce taxes their Doomsday or follow-up cantrips when they're often tapped out from Dark Ritual, and Consign to Memory can strip a colorless spell like Lion's Eye Diamond or counter a triggered ability if needed. Tormod's Crypt can exile their graveyard to deny Doomsday's search of both library and graveyard for key pieces, though it must be used before they go off since it does nothing once the stack resolves. Pinnacle Emissary, Chromatic Star, and Legion Extruder are clunky, slow pieces that don't pressure the opponent's plan quickly enough in a matchup decided by a few key turns, so they make way for proactive disruption.
