Unlicensed Hearse exiles cards from their graveyard, disrupting Life from the Loam's dredge recursion engine that fuels their entire land-based value loop. Sire of Seven Deaths and a copy of It That Heralds the End come out since this matchup is decided by disruption and racing their engine, not big creature stats, and we want a lower curve to play around Wasteland denying our colorless mana sources. Null Rod stays in the sideboard: Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage are lands, so it does not turn off their abilities, and it would also shut off our own Lotus Petals. Keep Chalice of the Void in, as setting it at two counters Life from the Loam, while Crop Rotation (mana value 1) needs Chalice set at one.
