Dimir Tempo leans on colorless engine pieces like Mishra's Bauble and Clue-generating triggers, plus Moonshadow and Nethergoyf, so Consign to Memory is excellent at countering their triggered abilities and any stray colorless spells while staying mana-efficient. Pithing Needle can shut down a problematic Wasteland or a recurring Kaito, Bane of Nightmares ninjutsu threat. Abrade answers Bilbo, Thief in the Night or an early Orcish Bowmasters before it snowballs. We trim a couple of Lotus Petals and cheap cantrip artifacts since they're the least impactful pieces against a deck full of Force of Will and Daze that wants to punish low-impact plays.
