UB is a Dark Ritual-fueled tempo deck leaning on Thoughtseize, Stormchaser's Talent, and Flow State to disrupt and cantrip into card advantage before closing with efficient threats. Metallic Rebuke is often a one-mana answer given our artifact density, and Consign to Memory picks off their noncreature spells like Flow State or Stormchaser's Talent for free. Kappa Cannoneer is too slow against a deck built to disrupt and out-tempo us, so it comes out along with the extra bounce and tempo spells that don't interact as cleanly with their hand-disruption-heavy plan.
