Dimir Tempo leans on colorless/triggered threats like Mishra's Bauble and Clue tokens alongside free counters, so Consign to Memory is excellent at blanking their cantrips and value engines for a one-mana instant. Rest in Peace cuts off Nethergoyf and Murktide Regent's delve fuel while also shutting down their graveyard-based escape/flashback plans. Back to Basics is weak here since their manabase is mostly fetches and duals they'll happily leave untapped-irrelevant against a deck not overextending on nonbasics for value. Gandalf comes out as a slow, clunky body against their efficient disruption-heavy start; Forth Eorlingas! is too slow against Wasteland-backed tempo.
