Lands relies heavily on Dark Depths plus Thespian's Stage for a fast Marit Lage token, and Consign to Memory is valuable because it can counter the Dark Depths triggered ability that creates Marit Lage, as well as colorless spells like Mox Diamond, Pithing Needle, Disruptor Flute, and Grafdigger's Cage. Crucible of Worlds lets us fight on equal footing in a long grindy land-based matchup and protects us from their own Wasteland and Ghost Quarter-style effects by letting us replay lost lands. Force of Negation is less useful since much of their deck isn't cast as traditional spells we can easily interact with on the stack (activated abilities like Dark Depths' counter removal aren't countered by it), and Forth Eorlingas! is too slow against a deck that can assemble a 20/20 quickly.
