This WU mirror-like matchup features Tamiyo, Quantum Riddler, and Teferi, Time Raveler as the main threats, so extra Wrath of the Skies copies help sweep their small creatures and Phelia tokens when they overextend. Lavinia is excellent against their Teferi, Time Raveler and other noncreature threats, restricting what they can cast above their land count while also countering their Daze and other free spells. Back to Basics is risky in this mirror since both decks run heavy nonbasics, and locking lands can backfire on us just as easily; Forth Eorlingas! is too slow against their efficient tempo plan backed by Stifle and Wasteland.
