Archon of Absolution's protection from white lets it dodge their Swords to Plowshares and Skyclave Apparition while taxing their attackers. Disruptor Flute can name Stoneforge Mystic or Aether Vial to shut off a key engine piece for the game. Karakas is a liability since they also run Karakas and can bounce our own legendary threats like Thalia or Nadaar, so trimming to zero avoids that risk while keeping our clock intact. This is a grindy mirror-ish matchup where taxing their engines matters more than raw stats.
