Pyroblast is premium against this matchup, hitting Daze, Force of Will, Brainstorm, Ponder, Preordain, Murktide Regent, and Flow State while being a 1-mana answer at instant speed. Null Rod shuts off Cori-Steel Cutter's equip ability and Mishra's Bauble's activation, slowing their explosive starts. Static Prison and Goblin Bombardment are cut since this is a race where proactive, efficient answers matter more than slow value engines. Keep applying pressure with Ocelot Pride and Guide of Souls while using Swords to Plowshares on Dragon's Rage Channeler or Murktide Regent before it grows out of hand.
