Rakdos Reanimator can produce a Griselbrand or Atraxa as early as turn one through Dark Ritual, Lotus Petal, and Faithless Looting into Reanimate, winning before you can develop a board. Deafening Silence is your most important card — as an enchantment that resolves on turn one, it prevents them from casting multiple noncreature spells in a turn, stopping the ritual-plus-reanimate sequence dead. Surgical Extraction targeting a Reanimate or Shallow Grave in the graveyard strips their entire reanimation suite, and hitting Griselbrand before it can be recurred removes their primary finisher permanently. Their sideboard Show and Tell post-board means you need to keep pressure on; Deafening Silence also stops them from chaining Thoughtseize into Show and Tell in one turn. Race them aggressively with token generation, as they have minimal dedicated interaction outside of Cabal Therapy — a resolved Pride with multiple tokens is faster than their clock once Deafening Silence is in play.
