Ocelot Pride Midrange wants to go wide with Cat tokens and protect its engine pieces with Swords to Plowshares and Orcish Bowmasters, so Snuff Out is a cheap, mana-efficient way to remove Guide of Souls or Ajani, Nacatl Pariah before they generate card advantage, paying life instead of mana to dodge their Wasteland-starved turns. Cabal Therapy is less impactful here since their threats are mostly on the battlefield rather than in hand, so a one-for-one discard spell is replaced by proactive removal. Keep our hand disruption suite (Thoughtseize, Unmask) at full count to strip Swords to Plowshares or Static Prison before committing our reanimation targets, and watch out for Karakas bouncing our legendary Atraxa or Raph & Mikey.
