Izzet Affinity's Karn, the Great Creator and artifact-heavy shell make Force of Vigor an efficient way to blow up their mana rocks or other key artifacts for free, disrupting their engine before it snowballs. Foundation Breaker is a second flexible artifact/enchantment answer that can be evoked when speed matters more than the body it leaves behind. Destroy the Evidence is too slow against a deck this explosive, and Cabal Therapy's blind discard is unreliable against their card-selection-heavy, low-creature-count list. We trim one Dread Return to make room while keeping our core kill sequence untouched, since racing remains our best line against their grindy inevitability plan.
