Ocelot Pride Midrange is a fast white-based creature deck. It pressures with Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride, Ajani, Amped Raptor and Voice of Victory. Its interaction is Swords to Plowshares, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben making our noncreature spells cost {1} more, Static Prison, and Wasteland. It does not main-deck discard such as Thoughtseize or Cabal Therapy, and it has no Orcish Bowmasters. Leyline of Sanctity only gives us hexproof, and none of their main-deck cards target us as a player. Swords to Plowshares targets creatures, so hexproof for the player would not stop it. Leyline therefore does nothing here and stays in the sideboard. Post-board they bring in Containment Priest, Null Rod, Deafening Silence and Surgical Extraction, none of which Leyline stops either. We make no swaps and keep the full combo suite. The matchup is a race against their wide board, so we should aim to assemble the combo quickly, play around Thalia's tax and Swords on our creatures, and be mindful of Wasteland on our nonbasic lands.
