Brotherhood's End sweeps their Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride, and Cat tokens for 3 damage each, resetting the board against a go-wide strategy. Abrade answers an early Ajani, Nacatl Pariah or Amped Raptor before it generates value. Flusterstorm is weak here since Ocelot Pride Midrange is not a combo deck, so it rarely has multiple spells worth countering on one turn. We still want to resolve a big threat quickly, since their removal suite (Swords to Plowshares, Static Prison) is better against our smaller permanents than against Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.
