Yggdrasil, Rebirth Engine gives us a slow, mana-hungry way to dig through the top of our library and eventually put a creature onto the battlefield, which is valuable in a grindy matchup against their Stifle/Daze/Force of Will disruption suite. Fury's evoke mode (exiling a red card from hand) lets us deal 4 damage divided among their creatures for no mana, picking off Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd or a Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student that hasn't flipped yet. Fury is red, so it can't be exiled to pay for Force of Will, and 4 damage won't kill a Quantum Riddler. Flusterstorm is reasonable against their counterspell-heavy list but we have better proactive tools to bring in, so we trim it slightly. Watch for Stifle on our Sneak Attack activations, Atraxa's enters trigger and Yggdrasil's abilities, and for Daze and Teferi, Time Raveler disrupting our tempo.
