Dimir Tempo leans on its graveyard for Nethergoyf's size and escape, so Surgical Extraction can exile every copy of a key Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, or Nethergoyf from their graveyard, hand, and library. Massacre is not free in this matchup: it needs an opponent to control a Plains, and their deck has none, so it has to be hard-cast for four mana. It is still worth it as a sweeper against their small creatures like Orcish Bowmasters and its Orc Army token, Bilbo, Brazen Borrower, and a small Nethergoyf, while leaving our big reanimation targets safe once recurred. Unmask and Collective Brutality are the weakest cuts since their hand-disruption effects are redundant with our own Thoughtseize and Cabal Therapy against a deck that is already low on relevant permanents to punish. Keep the core reanimator plan intact since Force of Will and Daze are answered by simply having more threats than they have counters.
