The EPIC Storm is a pure combo deck looking to resolve Tendrils of Agony or Beseech the Mirror into a win, and Surgical Extraction can strip a key piece like Lion's Eye Diamond from their graveyard after it's sacrificed, disrupting their mana-rebuy lines, though its main value is as graveyard disruption against their Echo of Eons loops. Koma's 7 mana is irrelevant since this matchup is a pure race decided well before either side casts a 7-drop, so it comes out. Keep Thoughtseize, Unmask, and Cabal Therapy maximally active since stripping their Dark Ritual, Lotus Petal, or Burning Wish on the play is the best way to disrupt their combo turn. This is a race where our fast graveyard plan needs to beat their combo to the punch.
