WU's gameplan revolves around Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student and Quantum Riddler backed by Force of Will, Daze, and Consign to Memory, so our best angle is simply presenting more reanimated threats than they can profitably counter. Surgical Extraction can proactively remove a key Swords to Plowshares or a copy of Tamiyo from the graveyard-adjacent plan, though its main utility is disrupting a Snapcaster Mage's flashback target or stripping a card after a Thoughtseize-style read. Unmask is the weakest link since WU's hand is full of countermagic and planeswalkers that are not where we want to spend our own disruption. Keep the rest of the core intact since Animate Dead and Shallow Grave give us redundant angles to beat their single removal spells.
