Blood Moon turns their Eldrazi Temple, Ugin's Labyrinth, Urza's Saga, and other nonbasic lands into Mountains, crippling their colorless mana base. Mountains only make red mana, so spells with colorless costs like Devourer of Destiny and Kozilek's Command become very hard to cast. Meltdown blows up their cheap artifacts like Vexing Bauble, Haywire Mite, Soul-Guide Lantern, Springleaf Drum, Talisman of Resilience, Blade of the Bloodchief, and Urza's Saga Construct tokens, and X can scale up if they have bigger artifacts. Lightning Bolt is weaker here: it kills Basking Broodscale and Sowing Mycospawn, but it can't handle Devourer of Destiny or Emrakul, and they aren't really racing us on board. We trim Street Wraith copies since this matchup is more about disruption than speed.
