4c HollowOne dumps its hand fast via Burning Inquiry and Faithless Looting to cheat out Hollow One and rebuy Vengevine, making graveyard disruption very strong. Endurance's ETB puts a targeted player's graveyard on the bottom of their library, which denies their Vengevine returns, while its evoke mode does this without paying mana on their turn. Elder Gargaroth's Reach and high toughness blocks well against their aggressive creatures like Blazing Rootwalla and Marauding Mako. Dismember is efficient removal for an early threat before it attacks. Cut slow utility lands and Drowner of Truth since this matchup is fast and punishes clunky draws.
