Boros Energy is extremely aggressive and can close games fast with Ragavan, Ocelot Pride tokens, and burn, so our clunky card selection needs to come out for pure interaction and protection. Consign to Memory stops any colorless spells they might sideboard in (like Vexing Bauble) and counters triggered abilities relevant to their energy/token engines. Mystical Dispute is mediocre since they are not a blue deck, but still a serviceable Counterspell-at-3 against their noncreature spells like Blood Moon. Stern Scolding is dead against their bigger threats like Ragavan and Ajani, so it comes out in favor of raw tempo and protection for our combo.
