Eldrazi Tron is a ramp-based prison deck with Karn, the Great Creator, Trinisphere, and big colorless Eldrazi, none of which are good Stern Scolding targets, so that card comes out. Engineered Explosives is excellent, sweeping their cheap mana permanents like Expedition Map and Giant's Boulder with a single counter, and Talisman of Resilience once a second color of mana has been spent. Get it down before Karn arrives, since Karn stops activated abilities of artifacts we control. Tormod's Crypt stays in the sideboard, because their only graveyard plan is a single Abstergo Entertainment. We trim a Preordain for proactive answers since this matchup is often decided by who assembles their engine first.
