Esper GenericBlink leans on cheap, efficient creatures (Flickerwisp, Phelia, Orcish Bowmasters, Witch Enchanter) and Overlord of the Balemurk, so Wrath of the Skies for a solid X resets the board against their value-creature plan. It also destroys our own creatures with mana value at or below X, so we cast it when we're behind on board. Sanctifier en-Vec has protection from black and from red, so Fatal Push and Orcish Bowmasters' pings can't target or damage it. Its graveyard-exile effect also cuts into Overlord of the Balemurk's recursion of black cards like Orcish Bowmasters and Kaito. Solitude can still exile it. Blood Moon stays in: their mana is built on fetchlands, shocklands, and surveil-lands with only a handful of basics, so it turns most of their mana into Mountains and can strand their white, blue, and black spells, though it also hampers our own nonbasic lands. We trim Thraben Charm and The Legend of Roku since they are too slow against the opponent's efficient tempo plan, plus Static Prison to round out the swap.
