Grixis Reanimator uses Faithless Looting and Thought Scour to fill the graveyard, then cheats Archon of Cruelty into play via Unearth or Persist for a devastating enters-the-battlefield trigger. Rest in Peace exiles their graveyard on entry and then redirects future discards and mills straight to exile, which shuts off Unearth and Persist entirely since both need a creature card sitting in the graveyard to function, and it also denies Abhorrent Oculus the six graveyard cards it needs to exile as an additional cost. Surgical Extraction can proactively strip their Archon of Cruelty or a key enabler like Unearth before they assemble the full combo. Board out the situational Static Prison and Boromir, Warden of the Tower for this graveyard hate package, since stopping Archon of Cruelty from ever hitting the battlefield is worth far more than any amount of board presence once it resolves.
