Dress Down strips creature abilities, neutralizing the reveal-and-hand trigger off a reanimated Atraxa, Grand Unifier or the exile trigger off a flashed-in Solitude, while Mystical Dispute offers efficient countermagic against their blue spells like Faithful Mending or Quantum Riddler. Nihil Spellbomb and Surgical Extraction attack the graveyard directly — exiling a discarded Griselbrand or Atraxa denies Goryo's Vengeance a legal target, and Surgical Extraction can strip every remaining copy of Goryo's Vengeance once we've seen one via Thoughtseize. Thoughtseize before they combo off is the single best proactive play we have. Cut Stubborn Denial, extra Street Wraith, and Drown in the Loch since this matchup is about disruption timing, not grinding card advantage.
