Ruby Storm has almost no creatures and no artifacts, so our sweepers and colorless-hate cards like Brotherhood's End and Consign to Memory have little to do here — the matchup comes down to disrupting their combo turn with hand disruption and counterspells. Mystical Dispute doesn't get its discount against this deck since they cast no blue spells, but as a plain counter-unless-pay-3 it can still stop Past in Flames or a lethal Grapeshot if they're tapped out from rituals. Stubborn Denial is cut since we rarely have a 4-power creature in play early and its base mode is easily paid through once they're generating mana from rituals. Keep every copy of Thoughtseize and Fatal Push in the maindeck — proactively stripping Reckless Impulse, Wrenn's Resolve, or Ral, Monsoon Mage on sight is our best angle of attack.
