Torpor Orb is excellent against Affinity's Kappa Cannoneer, which relies on its artifact-entering trigger to grow and become unblockable; shutting that off neutralizes their best threat. Tormod's Crypt disrupts their Mishra's Bauble and graveyard-based value while also hitting their own Tormod's Crypt war. Liquimetal Coating can turn a problematic permanent into an artifact for removal purposes, giving extra utility against their nonartifact threats like Emry, Lurker of the Loch. Dismember struggles against their resilient artifact creatures and sideboard card draw, and Giant's Boulder is too slow against this fast combo-aggro deck; Expedition Map and Karn, the Great Creator remain strong by locking down their artifact-heavy plan.
