Cursed Totem comes out of the plan entirely: Esper Control's only creature is Solitude, which has no activated abilities, so the Totem has nothing to shut off here. Vexing Bauble counters spells cast without spending mana, which catches Force of Negation cast by exiling a blue card from hand on our turn, an evoked Solitude, and the free copy from Isochron Scepter. Torpor Orb turns off Solitude's enters-the-battlefield exile trigger, and none of our threats rely on one, since Sowing Mycospawn, Devourer of Destiny and Ulamog all trigger on cast. Chalice of the Void set to 1 counters Orim's Chant and Silence, the cards they use to stop us from resolving a big spell, though it also counters our own Expedition Map. Disruptor Flute can name Teferi, Time Raveler or another key card to tax it by three. Giant's Boulder is far too slow against a control deck that will remove it before it matters, and Dismember struggles to find good targets since Esper Control runs few creatures worth killing. Karn, the Great Creator remains excellent here, locking out their Isochron Scepter and any artifacts while fetching Trinisphere or Ensnaring Bridge from the sideboard.
