Goryo's Vengeance is a graveyard reanimation combo deck that discards Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Griselbrand and returns it to the battlefield with Goryo's Vengeance for a hasty attack. Grafdigger's Cage is the premier answer since it stops Goryo's Vengeance from cheating creatures into play, though it does not stop Emperor of Bones-style recursion from exile. Tormod's Crypt is a proactive way to strip their graveyard before they can combo, ideally used on their upkeep or in response to a discard outlet. Soulless Jailer adds another layer of graveyard hate plus a decent blocker; Giant's Boulder and Dismember are cut as too slow against a deck that can win by turn 3-4.
