Grixis Reanimator relies heavily on the graveyard, discarding Archon of Cruelty or Abhorrent Oculus via Faithless Looting and Thought Scour, then bringing them back with Unearth or Persist, so Grafdigger's Cage is devastating, shutting off Unearth, Persist, and Abhorrent Oculus's manifest dread from putting anything onto the battlefield. Tormod's Crypt proactively strips their graveyard the moment you see Faithless Looting or Thought Scour resolve, denying the Unearth or Persist target before it matters. Keep Chalice of the Void in at one to catch their glut of one-mana spells like Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, and Thought Scour. Sire of Seven Deaths and Warping Wail are too slow and narrow against a deck that can reanimate a game-ending Archon of Cruelty as early as turn two, so they're cut for proactive graveyard disruption.
