Affinity is full of colorless artifact spells and triggered abilities (Mishra's Bauble, Mox Opal, Kappa Cannoneer's +1/+1 counter trigger), making Consign to Memory extremely efficient at replicate cost against their spell base. Surgical Extraction can strip a key Urza's Saga or Mishra's Bauble to blunt their engine, and Mystical Dispute is live against their blue spells like Preordain and Metallic Rebuke. Silence doesn't stop activated abilities like Urza's Saga's Construct-maker or artifact mana, making it far weaker than it looks, and Day's Undoing resets a game where you're usually racing their fast clock, not grinding. Keep your sweepers (Supreme Verdict, Wrath of the Skies) in to answer their wide artifact boards.
