Dimir Midrange is loaded with hard counters like Counterspell and Force of Negation plus efficient removal, making our plan harder to resolve; Consign to Memory answers their Orcish Bowmasters enter-the-battlefield trigger, shutting down a key source of incidental damage and card advantage. Ashiok, Dream Render exiles their graveyard to blunt Psychic Frog's flying activation and denies any library searching, while ticking down to mill and disrupt. Preordain and Faithful Mending get cut for more targeted interaction since this matchup comes down to protecting our combo pieces. Keep all four Solitude and both Force of Negation as they're critical against their counterspell-heavy interaction suite.
