Esper GenericBlink is a grindy value mirror-ish matchup built around Phelia, Flickerwisp, Overlord of the Balemurk, and Thoughtseize disruption, so we want to slow their cheap blink/value plays and buy time for our Atraxa and Griselbrand to take over the long game. Teferi, Time Raveler shuts off their Phelia flash plays on our turn and bounces a problematic Overlord of the Balemurk or Orcish Bowmasters while drawing a card. Force of Negation is less impactful since this matchup is more about grinding card advantage than stopping one key spell, and Faithful Mending's card filtering is redundant with the raw advantage Atraxa already provides. Keep Thoughtseize and Solitude in since they remain premium against their creature-heavy plan.
