Affinity relies heavily on colorless artifact spells and triggered abilities (Kappa Cannoneer's +1/+1 counter triggers, Weapons Manufacturing triggers); Consign to Memory's replicate lets us counter multiple colorless spells or triggered abilities in one turn, which is excellent against their cheap colorless artifacts, though it can't hit the blue Kappa Cannoneer or Pinnacle Emissary spells themselves. Vexing Bauble counters any spell cast with no mana spent, so it shuts off their zero-cost artifacts like Mox Opal, Mishra's Bauble, Tormod's Crypt, Claws of Gix and Welding Jar. Thought Scour and Quantum Riddler are too slow and don't interact with their explosive artifact starts, so they come out. Keep Fatal Push for Pinnacle Emissary, Emry, and small artifact creature tokens. It can't kill Kappa Cannoneer, which has mana value 6 and ward {4}. Thoughtseize strips key pieces before they go off. Watch for their Tormod's Crypt and Engineered Explosives, which punish our graveyard plan and board of small creatures respectively.
