Azorius Blink wins by generating incremental value through Ephemerate loops and life gain from Guide of Souls and Ocelot Pride, while Teferi, Time Raveler threatens to shut off your entire instant-speed game plan including Lava Dart, Mutagenic Growth, and Cantrips at end of turn. Consign to Memory is key here as it specifically counters Solitude and Ephemerate — both of which are free or pitch spells — protecting your threats from their most mana-efficient interaction. Into the Flood Maw handles a resolved Teferi and disrupts their curve by bouncing a permanent at instant speed, buying time to push through lethal. Spell Pierce covers Teferi on the stack and punishes Ocelot Pride, which can snowball into an army of tokens that clogs your attack lanes. Violent Urge and some copies of Mutagenic Growth come out because pump is less impactful against a deck with Solitude ambushes and token blockers — prioritize staying interactive and closing the game before their life gain engine spins up.
