Jeskai Energy fills the board with small creatures and tokens (Ocelot Pride cats, Guide of Souls, Voice of Victory's Warrior tokens), making Brotherhood's End excellent at resetting their board before they can out-tempo us or combo with Goblin Bombardment. Untimely Malfunction can redirect a removal spell like Galvanic Discharge away from Ral, Monsoon Mage, protecting a crucial combo piece. Artist's Talent and one Wish are cut since they're too slow against this proactive, go-wide deck. Note that Solitude can exile a key creature for free, so be ready to rebuild through that interaction when planning the turn you go off.
