Breath Weapon at two damage is your best card in this matchup — it sweeps Lunarch Veteran, Novice Inspector, and Thraben Inspector at once, denying the life gain and clue generation that sustains their engine, and it can clear Battle Screech tokens before they become a problem. Thorn of the Black Rose gives you a flying card advantage engine that their ground-based deck struggles to answer, and the Monarch keeps your hand full when they're deploying two-drops. Nihil Spellbomb is irrelevant against a deck with no graveyard synergies, and Cast Down is less impactful than Breath Weapon since their threat density requires sweepers rather than one-for-one answers. Be mindful of Prismatic Strands when attacking — leaving up Galvanic Blast mana to kill a key creature at end of turn is often better than committing to a full attack.
