Dimir Terror is the same graveyard-fueled Tolarian Terror plan as Mono-Blue Terror but backed by Snuff Out and Sneaky Snacker, which returns itself from the graveyard once its controller draws a third card in a turn. Faerie Macabre is excellent here: discarding it to exile two graveyard cards can both deny Tolarian Terror its cost reduction and permanently answer a Sneaky Snacker sitting in the graveyard waiting to return. Mesmeric Fiend strips a Counterspell before we commit Balustrade Spy or a reanimation target, since Dread Return getting countered by an untimely Counterspell is our worst case. We cut Lotus Petal and Quirion Ranger, trading raw speed for the disruption we need against their permission and removal suite.
